It will be no surprise to read that Spike had a pretty encyclopaedic knowledge of the history of great bass players.  A favourite of both of ours was Bernard Edwards.  This is a very rough mix from our unreleased second album.  Was always great to play it live with Spike and I think you can hear the influence on this track, I can certainly see his big grin.
